Joe Nichols & Bucky Covington are ready to thrill the Action Track!

Y108 ThrillBilly Country Bash this Saturday, September 19

Sarver, PA (September 16, 2009) Does Tequila make your clothes fall off?  Do you only smoke when you drink?  Do you think the devil drives a Coupe DeVille?  Does size matter?  Are you a Believer?  If you answered “YES” to any of these questions dust off your cowboy hat and spit shine those boots, because it’s time for the Y108 ThrillBilly Country Bash starring Joe Nichols at Don Martin’s Lernerville Speedway this Saturday Night, September 19 in Sarver, PA.

Joe Nichols has more hit songs than Ed Lynch Jr. has feature wins in 2009 and is ready to rock the stage at the 2nd Annual Y108 ThrillBilly Country Bash.  American Idol alum Bucky Covington will also grace the stage as American Idol fans flock to Sarvertown to see their Season 5 heartthrob play favorites like “I’ll Walk”, “It’s Good to be Us!” and “A Different World”

Pittsburgh acts NOMaD, Sarah Marince and Vanessa Campagna will join the Nashville Stars on the temporary stage this coming Saturday.  NOMaD and Sarah Marince were on the ThrillBilly card last season and Vanessa has literally grown up at Lernerville Speedway having performed the National Anthem on a regular basis since she was just a young girl.  Now a beautiful young lady, Vanessa will open the show with her trademark rendition of the National Anthem at 3:00PM, followed by a short set of songs, then a bone-crushing aerial assault by Monster Trucks AfterShock and Warrior.

When the carnage comes to an end, Sarah Marince will take to the stage to perform.  Sarah currently has a well-known commercial in the Pittsburgh area helping Eat ‘n Park Restaurants celebrate their 60th Anniversary.  Sarah is no stranger to Lernerville Speedway and always puts on a great show!

Speaking of a great show, NOMaD always rocks the stage at Lernerville Speedway.  With three years as the lead act on the post-race concert on Friday Night of Firecracker 100 weekend, the boys of NOMaD have a huge following at the Action Track and they never fail to get the crowd jacked up with a rockin’ mix of country hits.

AfterShock and Warrior will perform one last time before American Idol alum Bucky Covington takes the stage.  With the Monster Trucks parked for the night, fans will be invited onto the track to get up close and personal with Bucky in front of the stage.  From the rockin’ “It’s Good to be Us” to the bittersweet ballad “I’ll Walk”, Bucky will take his fans on a roller coaster of emotion!

Headliner Joe Nichols is scheduled to take the stage at roughly 8:00 to perform his bevy of hits including chart-toppers “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and “Brokenheartsville” as well as his current single “Believers”.  Other top ten hits include “The Impossible”, “If Nobody Believed in You”, “What’s a Guy Gotta Do?”, “Size Matters” and “I’ll Wait for You.”

And what would a Y108 Concert be without going backstage?  Yes, wear your “Y108 Send Me Backstage” T-Shirts and you could be picked to go backstage to meet Bucky or Joe!  You can also win backstage passes by logging onto www.Lernerville.com and clicking “Enter to Win!”

The night of family fun will be capped off with Fireworks by Premier Pyrotechnics and big old country bonfire in the pits!

Gates open at 2:00, and as mentioned above Vanessa Campagna will start the show at 3:00.  Tickets are on sale now at www.Lernerville.com and www.Y108.com or by calling 1-888-71TICKETS.  Despite all the entertainment and excitement, tickets are just $23!  Student (5-15) tickets are just $12, while children 4 & under are FREE!
