A.J. Flick selected Best in Show at Pittsburgh Mills

Holtgraver, Miley, Turner, McPherson and Flinner are Fan Favorites

Sarver, PA (March 18, 2012) A.J. Flick has been selected by Lernerville Speedway’s select panel of media members as the Best in Show of the Pittsburgh Mills Car Show.  “It’s the attention to detail; that car is spotless!” one member commented.  And speaking from firsthand experience of watching them unload and set the car up, it’s a complete team approach and the entire family and team will be very proud of their recognition!

Fans also voted for their favorite car in each division of Fab Four Racing on our Facebook page with Danny Holtgraver taking honors in the Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprints, Jared Miley in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models, Mike Turner in the Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modifieds, Corey McPherson in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman and Colton Flinner in the DIRTcar Pro/FASTRAK Late Models.

Corey McPherson set a Fan Favorite voting record with over 270 unique likes in a spirited battle with AJ Flick, whom also had over 200 votes.  Something tells me these two will also engage in some spirited battles on the Action Track this season!

In all, over 30 cars, (both from Fab Four Racing and a variety of support and feeder divisions), filled the sprawling Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills in preparation for the 2012 season.  Also supporting the show were the Ti22 Sprint car of Steve Lucas; the Precise Lates of Tyler Dietz, Dan Swartzlander and the Pitkavish Late Model driven by Tommy Beck; the Diehl Mod of Dave Murdick; the Pic-A-Part Sportsman of 2009 Track Champion Bob Lipinski, 2008 Track Champion Bob Egley, Wayne Carbo, Brett McDonald, Joseph Heinl and Bill Shipeck; and the DIRTcar Pro/FASTRAK Late Models of Mike Pegher Jr. and Chad Shearer.

We’d also like to thank Tyler Altmeyer of FullyInjected.com for supporting the car show all weekend.  If you haven’t seen his work, do yourself a favor and log on to www.FullyInjected.com and check out everything he does to promote Western PA Dirt Track Racing; and pick up a t-shirt and join Team Fi while you’re there!

After a three week layoff, the Lernerville Speedway pre-season will conclude on Saturday, April 14 with the Test & Tune Practice Session.  The green flag will then fly on the 2012 season of Fab Four Racing on Friday, April 20 on Opening Night with Budweiser Points beginning right away!  You can view, download and print the 2012 schedule at www.Lernerville.com!

Also released this week on www.Lernerville.com were the 2012 Rules for all divisions of Fab Four Races.  No major changes at hand, but please download and read the rules over the next three weeks so there are no surprises at the Test & Tune or on Opening Night!
