“Back to School” Bus & Kid’s Bike Races this weekend

Sportsman/Stock Spectacular 9/18, World of Outlaws 9/25

Sarver, PA (September 9, 2010) With the 2010 Budweiser Track Champions of Fab Four Racing crowned and after a star studded All Star Dual in the Dirt Sprint Car/Late Model doubleheader, it’s time for Lernerville Speedway to shift gears into Saturday Night mode for the remainder of September.

This Saturday, September 11 is the family oriented “Back to School” School Bus & Kids Bike Races. Saturday Night’s card also features a Powder Puff Bus race, the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club’s Senior Series, Demolition Derby and Figure 8 races. Adult general admission tickets are just $11, seniors $9, students 11-17 $6 and kids 10 & under are ALWAYS FREE!! All kids competing in the bike races must wear a helmet!!

Firecracker 100 Champion Shane Clanton Cruises to All Star Win

Sarver, PA (September 3, 2010) Shane Clanton had always been fast at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA but never had the luck or got the breaks needed to pick up a win at the famed half-mile, until 2010.

Shane made everything click back in June when he took home $30,000 from the 4th Annual 'Firecracker 100' and continued his 2010 success at 'The Action Track' with a $5,000 win in the O'Reilly All Star Late Model Series sanctioned 'Dual in the Dirt', surprisingly, using the same right front tire that glued him to the speedway in June.

'After 150 laps and $35,000, I think that tire has paid for itself,' joked race winner Clanton.
