Lanigan Continues Lernerville Success With Working Man 50 Victory
SARVER, Pa. – Aug. 29, 2014 – Series points leader Darrell Lanigan picked up right where he left off at Lernerville Speedway, earning his 14th World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory of the season Friday night when the national tour returned to the western Pennsylvania track for the first time since Lanigan's $30,000 Firecracker 100 victory in June.

Lanigan, 44, of Union, Ky., swept the program at Lernerville's inaugural Working Man 50 on Friday, earning $10,650 as he closed to within one victory of matching his WoO LMS record 15-win season of 2012. The triumph also marked the third win in four WoO LMS A-Mains at Lernerville this season for Lanigan, who claimed one of two preliminary races during the Firecracker 100 weekend to go along with his victory in the event's blockbuster finale.

Sarver, PA (September 4, 2015) Just over two months after Shane Clanton won the Firecracker Thursday Preliminary, he dominated Friday Night’s Working Man 50 after masterfully carving up lapped traffic en route to a $10,000 payday and potentially paving the way to a second career Firecracker 100 victory Saturday Night. Local and regional drivers fared well, as Three-Time Defending Track Champion Alex Ferree ran amongst the top three for most of the race, before succumbing to a flat tire in the closing laps. Davey Johnson finished fourth, ahead of Chub Frank in sixth and Gregg Satterlee fought all night to overcome issues in time trials to record an impressive eight place finish.

Clanton Scores 10th World of Outlaws Late Model Series Victory Of 2015 with Working Man 50

SARVER, Pa. (Sept. 4) — Shane Clanton of Zebulon, Ga., returned to his winning ways on Friday night, scoring a convincing victory in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series Working Man 50 at Lernerville Speedway.

Taking advantage of his position starting spot, Clanton jumped into the lead at the initial green flag and never looked back in his Ron Davies-owned Capital Race Car. He brushed off a mid-race threat from the Josh Richards of Shinnston, W.Va., en route to beating the red-hot Rocket Chassis house car driver by 0.932 of a second.

The $10,550 victory was the 10th of the 2015 WoO LMS for the 39-year-old Clanton, who snapped Richards’s three-race win streak on the national tour. It also ended Clanton’s personal eight-race winless stretch in WoO LMS competition and pushed his career win total to 30.

Sarver, PA (August 29, 2014) Just two months after Darrell Lanigan finally slayed the dragon that was the Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com, he returned to Sheetz Victory Lane for a $10,000 Working Man 50 payday. Lanigan’s third World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main win of the season at Lernerville Speedway brought his winner’s share to $46,000 for 2014; $30,000 for the Firecracker 100 A-Main, $6,000 for the Firecracker Thursday Preliminary and now $10,000 for the Working Man 50. After the conclusion of Working Man 50, Russ King won the rescheduled Uncle Sam 30 from Firecracker 100 weekend; King’s second career Uncle Sam 30 victory.
