Dean Pearson scores a huge upset in Diehl Mods Feature!

Davey Johnson beats a trio of other “1’s” in Precise Lates
Brian Ellenberger wins a thriller over Eric Williams in Ti22 Sprints
Corey McPherson continues to roll with third win in Pic-A-Part Sportsman

Sarver, PA (June 15, 2012) While it was the second feature run, the best story of night came in the Diehl Mods where veteran Dean Pearson scored his first career feature win at The Action Track after early leader Kevin Bolland broke on the back stretch.  Steve Feder inherited the lead, but got loose in turn two, allowing Pearson to thunder past exiting turn two. Feder fought back, but Pearson scored an emotional win after years of trying!  Prior to that, Davey Johnson, in the #1J, ran away with the Precise Late Model feature as a trio of other “1’s” – Chub Frank in the 1*, Mike Pegher Jr. in the #1C and Bud Points Leader Jared Miley in the H1.  Brian Ellenberger and Eric Williams traded the lead multiple times in the Ti22 Sprint feature with Ellenberger scoring his second win of the season.  Corey McPherson brought the Holiday Races to a close on #1 Cochran Fan Appreciation Night with a dominant performance, leading all 22-laps of the caution-riddle Pic-A-Part Sportsman feature.

Sarver, PA (May 18, 2012) There’s nothing quite like the Armed Forces to get the blood pumping and with the U.S. Marines, the National Guard and a group of veterans roll in 20 deep on Harley Davidsons  (Thank you Legion Riders Post 18 from Slickville!) all on hand in the same night, it’s hard not to be proud to be an American, enjoying the freedom of another Fast Friday of Fab Four Racing!  Eric Gabany started the night’s feature action by capturing the Approved Toilet Rental Small Block Showcase Modified feature over a hardcharging “Tugboat” Lonnie Riggs.  Chub Frank beat the Johnson Brothers (Mike and Davey) to win his second consecutive Precise Late Model feature.  Danny Holtgraver picked up his first feature win of the season in the Ti22 Sprints carrying the #CIII on his wing for Rod George whom suffered a badly damaged chassis last Saturday Night at the All Start Circuit of Champions Sprint feature at Mercer Raceway Park.  The Pic-A-Part Sportsman feature was a barnburner again with Terry Young picking up his second win of the season after battling Corey McPherson and Pat Hanley.

Sarver, PA (May 16, 2012) Fab Four Racing is back in action again this Friday, May 18, but with a little twist as the Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modifieds will be replaced on the card with the Small Block Showcase featuring the 358 Modifieds that call Mercer Raceway Park home on Saturday Nights.  While welcomed to compete with the Diehl Mods every Friday night on an amended rules package, the Small Blocks will take center stage this week thanks to Jerry Schaffer of Approved Toilet Rentals.  The Small Blocks will be competing under Mercer’s Small Block rules package for $1,000-to-win without having to compete against the extra speed and horsepower of the Big Block Mods.

Dave Murdick and Mike Miller win first features of 2012

Sarver, PA (May 11, 2012) Carl Bowser has had a rough start to the 2012 season, fighting a new Eagle Chassis that just couldn’t get along with the Action Track.  So Carl went back to the drawing board this week and broke out the J&J Chassis that he piloted to the 2011 Track Championship.  The end result; his first feature win of 2012!  Chub Frank, Dave Murdick and Mike Miller all followed suit with their first feature wins of the season in their respective divisions on Twin State Auto Racing Club Night.  Friday night was also Breast Cancer Awareness night; our annual homage to mothers and grandmothers whom have battled breast cancer.  The “Finest Race Fans in the World” generously donated $800 to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure; a record amount as nearly perfect weather conditions helped us fill the stands!
