Dow Carnahan Tribute Night kicks off a busy May schedule

Dow Carnahan Tribute Night kicks off a busy May schedule

Tony Stewarts All Star Sprints roll into town next weekend

Sarver, PA (May 4, 2016) Lernerville Speedway will say goodbye to a beloved family member Friday Night as we pay tribute to recently passed PA Announcer Dow Carnahan.  Rappin on Racins Don Gamble has recruited a handful of Dows predecessors and colleagues in local dirt track racing to call the nights Fab4 Racing Fueled by Turners Premium Iced Teas program in Dows honor.  It wont be an easy night, but its a necessary step in the healing process and one that Dow would want us to take with all the class and grace that he brought to the speedway for the past 12 years.

Carl Bowser, Michael Lake and Joey Zambotti lead the way in the point standings of the Peoples Sprints, Precise Lates and Pic-A-Part Sportsman/Stocks respectively.  Meanwhile, 2016 feature winners Rex King Jr. and Jeremiah Shingledecker share the points lead in the Diehl Mods.

Friday night is also Ladies Night, which means women of all ages will be admitted FREE of charge until 7:00PM!  Its a great night to bring mom to the track as an early Mothers Day present, and also a great date night option; try to take your lady to the Pirates game or movie theatre for free!

Next Friday, May 13, Tony Stewarts Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints return to the Action Track for their annual visit led by former Track Champions Dale Blaney, Tim Shaffer and Danny Holtgraver.  The All Stars always put on an excellent show and theyll be joined on the card by the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman and the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds.

Fab4 Fueled by Turners returns to action on May 20 for Armed Forces Night and again on May 27 for Diehl Automotive Night.  On Diehl Night, œThe Finest Race Fans in the World? will have their first opportunity to œMeet the Drivers? as the Big Block Modified drivers will be available to meet & greet the fans for autographs and pictures.
