    Fab4 Fueled by Turner's Quick Results 8.12

Four of a kind; Norris, Swartzlander, Bowser & Dietz double up
Sarver, PA (August 12, 2016) Despite a little bit of a late start opening the gates due to a passing shower at 4:30, the skies cleared up, but the heat and humidity returned to provide a fast race track tonight for Turner Dairy Farm Night of Fab4 Fueled by Turners Premium Iced Teas. In the opening laps of the Precise Late Model feature, early leader Mike Pegher Jr. and eventual winner Michael Norris were both turning laps below the official Late Model track record of 15.000 seconds held by Rick Eckert. Pegher fell victim to a back-marker and surrendered the lead to Michael Norris on lap eight who never looked back despite a series of cautions. Norris held strong on the restarts and cruised to his second win of the season.

Brian Swartzlander passed early leader Rex King Jr. on lap 15 of the Diehl Modifieds feature to score his second win of the season and 92nd of his surefire Hall of Fame Career. Carl Bowser, like Norris, was in the right place at the right time to inherit the lead after early pacesetter Brandon Spithaler sailed off the top of turn three on lap 18. Bowser then held off the furious advances of Dan Shetler to score his second win of the season and 21st of his career. Tyler Dietz followed Swartzlanders lead of patiently waiting to make the pass for the lead, dispatching an upstart Noah Brunell on lap 13. Once out front, Dietz rolled to his second win of the season in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Sportsman, but Brunells time will come soon enough!

Staying true to the theme of the night, were down to just two Fast Fridays of Fab4 Racing Fueled by Turners Premium Iced Teas. Heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, Jack Sodeman Jr., Russ King, Mat Williamson and Corey McPherson lead their respective divisions in points as the Chase for the 2016 Fab4 Fueled by Turners Championships nears completion.
