Series' Fourth Round will be Wednesday

The series will be entering it's fourth round on Wednesday as drivers will be battling to improve their positions in the standings for what is a very lucrative payout at the end of the season with over $137,000 doled out to the top 10 drivers in the standings including a winner's share of $50,000. Coming into Wednesday night, Firecracker 100 winner Ricky Thornton Jr. brings a nine point lead with him in the early going. Lernerville was originally scheduled to be the eighth round of the series, however, four postponements in the first half of the season schedule have altered things a bit. Following Wednesday, six scheduled races will remain with the final leg wrapping up the season at Senoia Raceway on November 16.

    Who To Expect

National talent will be in abundance on Wednesday night as a mix of top performers from the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series and World of Outlaws Late Models should be in the pits. Both series will have weekend events within three and a half hours of Lernerville, meaning the race conveniently placed between the two series making for an easy drive over. There will also be some drivers who either haven't raced at Lernerville before or years have passed since their last visit. Bobby Pierce and Jason Feger, both in the hunt for the championship, both fall into that category and will definitely earn some new fans on Wednesday night. Also expected are two time Firecracker 100 winner Tim McCreadie, Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, Daulton Wilson, Rick Eckert, Devin Moran and Garrett Alberson. From around the area, youngster Drake Troutman will be looking to score a huge payday and has had lots of success in his early career thus far at Lernerville during special events.
