Sarver, PA (August 24, 2025) The annual Sprint Car Spectacular presented by Peluso Roofing provided the entertainment at The Action Track on Saturday night and saw a fair amount of invaders pay a visit on a near perfect, late August weather night. It was a 27 car field for the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars who were attempting to bring home the $5,000 top prize and when the checkered flag waved, it was Central, PA pilot Logan Wagner who was holding the trophy in Terry Bowser Excavating Lane, coming from the third starting spot on the grid. Wagner finished with a 2.28 second gap over fellow Central, PA driver Mike Walter II, while track champion AJ Flick rounded out the podium in the 25-lap main event.

In Allegheny Sprint Tour action, Jeremy Kornbau started fourth in the main event and seized the opportunity to pad his point lead in the series, taking his second win at Lernerville in 2025 as he topped the 17 car field on hand for the $1,300 winner's share, crossing the finish line by 1.59 seconds ahead of previous AST feature winner Timmy Bittner while Vivian Jones continued her strong series of performances at Lernerville by rounding out the podium. In Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sprint Car action, John Mollick wired the field in the 20-lap feature, capturing yet another feature win by finishing 1.55 seconds ahead of Zach Morrow while Arnie Kent took home a third place finish, just .7 seconds off Morrow in second.

Coming up, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is getting ready for a return to The Action Track for two nights of racing on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30 as we play host to the Hillbilly Hundred for the first time in Lernerville Speedway history! The action kicks off with a preliminary night featuring a complete program, culminating with a 40-lap, $10,000-to-win show on Friday plus live music following the racing at our Edgar Snyder Arena (behind turn three), then another complete $30,000 to win program on Saturday. The Lucas boys will be joined by the Ohio Valley Steel Block Late Models on both nights as they make their Pennsylvania debut, racing for $2,000-to-win on Friday night and $5,000-to-win on Saturday. Avoid the lines and purchase your tickets online at Lernerville.com today and don't miss this historic weekend of racing!
